About the Role
Due to growth in our business, we are seeking a full time Linehaul Logistics Scheduler to join our Ingleburn team.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Scheduling vehicle loads.
Schedule drivers runs accurately.
Reviewing and consolidating driver's paperwork.
Conduct and report an accurate daily debrief for all drivers.
Liaising with drivers throughout the day to ensure they are progressing well, meeting deliver schedule and staying within fatigue limits.
Liaising with customers and updating order status and enquiries.
Proven ability to achieve delivery KPI's.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience
Three years previous experience within the transport industry essential.
Have an excellent knowledge in the geographical layout of Ingleburn and Surrounding Areas.
Three years prior experience in a transport scheduling/coordinator role preferred.
Budget experience and IBT and LPG experience.
Detailed knowledge of load configurations, weights, allocation preferred.
High level skill in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word essential.
Pronto and ignition system knowledge desirable but not essential.
Extensive Knowledge of Safety and Compliance essential.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
