About the Role
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Internal Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and developing the internal sales team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and exceed sales targets.
This role plays a critical part in driving inbound and outbound sales activity, ensuring CRM accuracy, and aligning internal sales strategies with broader business objectives, all while championing safety, compliance and Supagas’ customer-first culture.

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, coach and manage the internal sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Recruit, train and develop internal sales team members
Conduct regular call coaching, performance monitoring and feedback sessions
Convert inbound enquiries into qualified opportunities and closed sales
Develop and execute outbound sales campaigns targeting SME and mid-market customers
Collaborate with field sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding
Maintain the CRM system, reporting accuracy and pipeline management
Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activity to identify opportunities
Support pricing strategies, quote approvals and margin targets
Ensure all customer enquiries are completed within agreed SLAs
Champion safety, compliance, training and product knowledge across the team

Proven experience managing and coaching an internal sales or telemarketing team
Strong background in internal sales with demonstrated B2B sales success
Ability to drive performance in a high-volume, target-driven sales environment
Experience converting inbound enquiries into qualified opportunities and closed sales
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably Salesforce
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and reporting
Experience within FMCG, energy, gas or commodity-based industries is advantageous
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and retain sales talent
Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
Sales-driven, customer-centric mindset aligned with Supagas’ “Yes We Can” culture
