Job Description
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our Production team at our new SupaSwap Sunshine Coast plant. This hands-on role is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture, filling and handling of gas products while strictly following Supagas procedures, safety requirements and quality standards.
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely and smoothly, while embodying our ‘Yes We Can’ ethos and commitment to safety: Think SAFE, Work SAFE, Live SAFE.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operate production and filling plants in line with training, procedures and safety requirements
Load and unload trucks and assist with gas deliveries when required
Maintain accurate records, including cylinder movements and data entry
Maintain work areas, equipment and machinery in a clean, safe and operational condition
Follow all Safe Work Procedures, Work Instructions and Permit to Work requirements
Actively participate in safety processes including risk assessments, JSAs and safety reporting
Assist with safety initiatives, emergency response activities and continuous improvement
Assist with updating standard operating procedures and site documentation

Experience in a manufacturing or a production environment is highly preferred
Forklift licence
Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems and machinery is desirable
Reliable, safety-minded and a genuine team player
Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to follow procedures and work instructions
Willingness to take ownership and accountability
Ability to work overtime when required.
