About the Role
Based at our Sunshine branch, the Branch Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, fleet management and continuous improvement across multiple branches.
Reporting into the Branch Manager, you will ensure the Sunshine branch is fully supported with the resources, systems and guidance required to meet operational targets while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the Sunshine branch to achieve operational, safety and financial performance targets.
Drive operational efficiency by analysing delivery performance, fleet utilisation and cost metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Oversee fleet and asset management to ensure vehicles, cylinders and equipment are compliant, maintained and effectively utilised.
Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with WH&S, Chain of Responsibility (COR), fatigue management and relevant transport legislation.
Partner with Branch Managers to support workforce planning, contractor engagement and operational capability across sites.
Conduct regular branch audits to ensure safety, housekeeping and compliance standards are consistently met.
Support driver onboarding, training and coaching initiatives to enhance performance and regulatory compliance.

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar operational leadership role, ideally within transport, logistics or a regulated industrial environment.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to influence, mentor and support teams across multiple sites.
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to manage compliance, audits and safety systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational and financial data to drive performance improvements.
Solid understanding of WH&S legislation, Chain of Responsibility (COR), fatigue management and transport compliance requirements.
Commercial mindset with an understanding of budgets, cost control and operational efficiency.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results.
Truck and Forklift Licence is advantageous.
Tertiary qualifications in Management is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
