About the role
To support our growth focused approach, we are currently seeking an experienced Yard & Logistics Supervisor to join our team in the Devonport Branch.
This role has a strong operational focus, leading the yard team, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring deliveries are executed safely, on time and to the highest service standards. You will be a visible, hands-on supervisor who sets the standard for safety, teamwork and performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and support Drivers and Yard Staff at our Devonport Branch
Take ownership of daily yard operations
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, on time and in full
Ensure that coordination and optimisation of delivery runs and resource allocation are completed
Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational excellence
Support recruitment, onboarding and safety training of new team members

Skills & Experience
Experience managing production teams in a manufacturing or similar environment
Proven leadership skills
Must have a valid forklift license
An intermediate level of computer skills
Exceptional communication skills
MR license is preferred but not essential
Previous gas industry experience is advantageous but it is not essential
The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
