What you will be doing

We're on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our LPG and Industrial Gas Sales team on a full time, permanent basis.

You will play a key role in strengthening our client relationships, improving retention and recovery of existing and previous Supagas customers, and minimising lost business.

This is an exciting field-based opportunity that offers a high level of autonomy to manage your schedule, manage a diverse client portfolio and represent a safety-focused and customer-first driven organisation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with our LPG and Industrial Gas key accounts
  • Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs, goals and challenges
  • Manage end-to-end account relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Identify and act on customer retention and growth opportunities
  • Negotiate and secure renewed supply agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Logistics and Accounts
  • Monitor Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data to monitor account performance, identify customers requiring re-signing of supply agreements
  • Embody the Supagas “Yes We Can” customer service ethos in all interactions and uphold Supagas’s safety vision: Think SAFE, Work SAFE, Live SAFE

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Sales or account management experience 
  • Experience in the gas industry or a related field is advantageous but not required
  • Strong B2B sales acumen 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, networking and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent time management to manage multiple priorities and accounts effectively
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
  • Confident using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office
