About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Business Development Manager, or a clinical professional seeking to start their sales career, to assist our team in growing our medical and liquid nitrogen portfolio across the North Brisbane, QLD region.

In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and retaining existing medical customers. You’ll be the face of Supagas in the medical sector, building trusted relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring regular travel across Northern Brisbane.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in the medical sector
  • Grow medical and liquid nitrogen sales in line with budgets and KPIs
  • Proactively generate new leads through cold calling and networking
  • Build strong relationships with customers, specialists, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage incoming medical and liquid nitrogen enquiries efficiently
  • Retain and re-sign commercial customers, defending existing supply agreements
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and sales activity in Supagas systems
  • Represent Supagas professionally at all times
  • Attend trade shows and industry events

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
  • Strong lead generation and cold calling skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based role
  • Experience in medical, healthcare, or clinical sectors (preferred)
  • Familiarity with gas products or industrial supplies (preferred but not essential)
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer-focused service
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical check
