About the Opportunity

As a LPG Fitter in our Ingleburn team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of gas equipment across customer sites. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your mechanical expertise directly supports operational continuity and customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Installations & Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Install, commission and test gas equipment to manufacturer specifications
  • Deliver high-quality preventative and breakdown maintenance across customer sites
  • Conduct fault-finding and rapid response repairs
  • Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Accurately capture works completed within the maintenance management system
  • Support continuous improvement of safety, reliability and asset performance
  • This role offers autonomy in the field while being backed by a supportive national operations team.

Desired Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter
  • Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Proven fault-finding and mechanical problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Current driver’s licence

Highly regarded:

  • Experience in gas, industrial, manufacturing or similar technical environments
  • Experience using a CMMS / maintenance tracking system
  • Experience working with LPG and Industrial gases
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance frameworks
  • Forklift Licence
  • Confined Space
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
  • Disconnection and reconnection of fixed electrical equipment
