About the role

Our Karratha Operations Team is seeking a dependable Bulk Liquid Nitrogen Delivery Driver to join the team.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering bulk liquid nitrogen to commercial and industrial customers across Western Australia and the Northern Territory. This opportunity suits an experienced line-haul driver with previous experience operating cryogenic or dangerous goods tankers.

 

You will:

  • Safely delivered Bulk Liquid Nitrogen to customers, completing all allocated daily deliveries. 
  • Be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are always kept in a roadworthy and clean condition, with daily walkaround checks, pre-start checks and reporting any defects or symptoms of defects - vehicles driven will range from 50-120 tonne road trains.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and activity (consignment notes, delivery dockets, etc.) and meet electronic requirements – including using handheld scanner technology to log deliveries and monitor stock.
  • Prioritize safety at every level, with a high level of safety exerted in road and traffic safety and patience.
  • Report any hazards, safety concerns, near misses, accidents and incidents.
  • Be able to keep track of time and be efficient as possible.
  • Provide good service to your customers when delivering product.

Desired Skills and Experience

You possess:

  • Multi Combination truck license.
  • Dangerous Goods licence.
  • Previous experience in Bulk Dangerous Goods/ Cryogenics delivery.
  • MSIC card required or capacity to get.
  • Current Forklift Operators Licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Sense of independence and problem solve when on your own.
  • Some mechanical knowledge that can be extremely helpful when on the road – how to take care of minor maintenance issues.
  • Capacity to work on a 14 day on /14 day off FIFO roster with variable hours including nights/weekends as required.
  • Proven ability to perform long-distance line haul driving, including multi-day trips and overnight stays in truck sleeper cabins, whilst maintaining strict compliance with fatigue management and safety requirements.
