About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business across Bulk Industrial, CO2 and Dry Ice Gas throughout the Sydney region.

You'll take ownership of your territory, working closely with the National Manager to build your pipeline, win new customers and grow market share.

This role is ideal for an early to mid career sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys the challenge of winning new business.  


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and win new business through in person cold calling, site visits and networking 
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline 
  • Identify new industries and growth opportunities
  • Achieve sales targets and activity KPIs
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams to deliver great service outcomes

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in sales, business development, and/or account management
  • Comfortable with cold calling and face to face selling 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
  • No gas industry experience required - we'll train you
  • Background in technical, industrial, or B2B environments is highly regarded
  • A team player with a positive attitude who embodies Supagas’ “Yes We Can” ethos.
  • The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
