About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join our Liverpool office.

As a member of the Supagas HR team you will focus on recruitment activities across the business, with a designated portfolio of roles supporting hiring managers to provide an efficient and effective recruitment process.

This is a Full Time position, working weekdays Monday to Friday with flexible start time ranging from 8am – 9am.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Embody the “Yes We Can” ethos in all facets of your responsibilities.
  • A high volume recruitment environment, requiring multi-tasking and effective time management.
  • On receipt of approved recruitment requisitions initiate the recruitment process and ensure processes are adhered to and appropriate records maintained.
  • Review and discuss role with hiring manager, ensuring you understand the role, requirements and the hiring manager’s preferences.
  • Actively and regularly conduct candidate resume screening, preferably daily, providing shortlisted candidates to hiring manager for review and feedback.
  • Proactively conduct talent search activities to proactively approach potential candidates and expand the talent pool.
  • Conduct role appropriate phone screening to validate candidate suitability prior to interview stage.
  • Organise and coordinate candidate interviews as required in liaison with the hiring manager.
  • Carry out phone based reference checks for each preferred candidate, in line with reference check template and reference requirements.
  • Organise pre employment medicals as required.
  • Support interview process if requested by the hiring manager or National HR Manager.
  • Monthly reporting and progress updates on recruitment activities and outcomes.

  • 3+ Years experience in a similar role with a multi-site business
  • HR qualification an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Positive, supportive and professional demeanour with the ability to negotiate and illicit the desired results
