About the role
We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and expanding the sales of LPG and Industrial Gases across the Lonsdale and greater southern metropolitan area.
Your focus will be on achieving retention and growth targets by building strong relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities and promoting Supagas products and services.
Your ability to spot growth opportunities and turn connections into results will be key to your impact!
You’ll also support our partners by guiding them on Workplace Health & Safety obligations, ensuring safe storage and handling of our products.
In addition, you will:
- Build and grow new business through proactive prospecting, including face-to-face cold calling.
- Manage and service customer accounts, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly. Follow up leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve targets.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and sales activity within CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support sales strategy.
- Ensure all documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements are completed accurately.
- Uphold strong safety standards and ensure customers operate safely and compliantly.
