About the role

We’re on the lookout for a full time Business Development Manager to join our Sales team, based in Brisbane, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for Internal Sales, this role contributes directly to achieving Supagas' strategic growth objectives through customer acquisition, retention and account development.

Your ability to spot growth opportunities and turn connections into results will be key to your impact!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable new business through proactive outbound calling, digital lead conversion, customer referrals and sales campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell the full Supagas product portfolio.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Grow revenue within existing customer accounts.
  • Review customer usage and identify opportunities for additional products.
  • Partner with external Business Development Managers to maximise opportunities.
  • Ensure documentation is completed within required timeframes.
  • Utilise CRM reporting to prioritise sales activity.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through onboarding.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in every customer interaction.

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar sales role with gas industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and forecast accurately
  • High level of computer literacy required.
  • Candidates who have a passion for sales, including designing call cycles and exploring and exploiting new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience on inbound and outbound sales
  • Reliable vehicle and full driver's license.
